Windows 10 Build 10547 was released on September 18, 2015. This Build Also Released via “TH2” (ThresHold2) Development Branch.

New to Start and Desktop

  1. You can now show either 3 or 4 medium tiles per group
  2. Context menus have a new grey design
  3. The look for dropdowns is now changed
  4. Desktop app tiles have their own color
  5. The context menus for tiles have been reorganized
  6. Start now supports up to 2048 tiles
  7. Cortana now work for local accounts also
  8. New option in setting app has enabled under System > Multitasking
  9. Now you can resize both snapped windows at once (only horizontal)

Now Task View allows snapping apps to the screen in tablet mode

Lock screen

  • Windows Spotlight enable as lock screen for Pro users
  • Ability to disable the background of the logon screen

Apps and Settings in Build 10547

  • Ability to select the correct time zone automatically
